Over the weekend while putting up the second hunting blind and trowing Acorns around to hopefully get more Oak tress growing, We went around the trails and checked cameras. I got them all up and going, except one. I knew the exact location I placed a camera. The first time out heading to put a blind up, I did not see the camera or solar panel on the tree. Dad and I came around later and I spotted the strapes and base on the tree. We got out, looked around, and found both the camera and solar panel. We were thinking a bear got the camera and solar panel at the way things looked. Below in the pictures are the last 4 pictures from the SD card. A bear did get the camera and solar panel. In the 4 years I’ve had cameras out, the bears haven’t bothered the cameras often. Sometimes they check them out, knocking them sideways. Only the very first year I put them in the back 40 did a bear knock a camera off the tree. This time the bear did not like the camera, and made sure the camera was off the tree and did not take pictures.
