Janet and Chuck purchased the property in October 1988. For years they improved and maintained the property. They enjoyed spending time at the property and sharing the experience with family and friends.
November 2022 (34 Years Later) Crabby Acres started a new chapter. Same property, same family, just involving the next generations. The property needed some work, care, and maintanence to make up for a few years. Mother Nature being Mother Nature made a few changes. Unfortunately a few individuals also made some decisions, which were not kind and good to the property. With a little TLC the property was close to where Janet and Chuck left off. New projects were discussed and work began to make Crabby Acres beautiful, a place for others to spend time, share, and enjoy. Below you can see from Summer of 2022 to Ocotber of 2025. For about three years (Spring of 2023 – Fall 2025) Family, Friends, and Professionals put time (hours/days), sweat, care, thought, work, and resources into repairing, maintaining, and improving Crabby Acres.
Since work began in Spring 2023 we have gotten to know the neighbors and others in the community. Lots of positive feedback and comments about what is taking place at the property. For a few years (2020 – 2022) poor choices and lack of care was provided to the property. Neighbors shared with us how they were concerned with activites happening at the property. It was falling about, lack of care, garbage everywhere, not a good sight, “looked like a junk yard”. Neighbors shared it was hard to drive by looking at the property, something needed to be done. Those that live in the area are proud, watch out for one another, and take pride living in how the area looks. It was difficult for them to have a “junk yard” they had to look at and an eye sore for all individuals passing by the property. It did not truely represent the area/heighborhood.
Crabby Acres is looking Awesome now. We continue to get positive feedback and comments about how the property looks now. This is a great area.
